What is urologic surgery?

This is surgical treatment of men’s and women’s urinary tract diseases and men’s reproductive system diseases.

Surgeries performed at Euromed Clinic:

  • transurethral surgery – through urinary tract (urethra);
  • laparoscopic surgery – through a puncture in the anterior abdominal wall.

Use of endoscopic equipment during operations

During operations and research our doctors widely use endoscopic equipment: they insert a thin probe equipped with a fiber-optic camera, a light source and a surgical manipulator into the surgery area. Everything is displayed on a screen in the surgery room. Thanks to the minimally invasive technology, the hospital admission and rehabilitation terms are reduced.
