What procedures and surgeries do we perform?

Different types of biopsies:

biopsy of the lung, neoplasms of the chest organs, intrathoracic lymph nodes with videothoracoscopy;
X-ray-guided transthoracic biopsies;
excisional and brush biopsies of the central neoplasms of the tracheobronchial tree with flexible bronchoscopy.

Surgical treatment of pneumothorax:

drainage of the pleural cavity;
atypical resection of the lung with bullous changes with costal pleurectomy;
atypical lung resection with induction of chemical pleurodesis (obliteration of the pleural cavity).

Surgical treatment for recurrent hydrothorax:

drainage of the pleural cavity with a longstanding pleural catheter;
induction of chemical pleurodesis (obliteration of the pleural cavity) in recurrent hydrothorax.
