Examination for the migration agency, obtaining a temporary residence permit, Russian permanent residence

All foreign citizens who apply for a work license, a temporary residence permit, Russian permanent residence or the citizenship status must undergo a medical check-up. Its purpose is to make sure that a foreign citizen does not suffer from diseases that are dangerous to others.

Such a medical check-up includes:

  • a GP’s and other medical specialists’ appointment;
  • all necessary lab tests;
  • chest X-ray.

Besides, foreign citizens must provide reliable information about their health status and past medical history.

Documents required for a medical check-up:

  • foreign citizen’s passport;
  • migration card;
  • visa (if any);
  • registration certificate (if any).
